Trouble loading pages when using dial-up

I use RoadRunner high speed internet at home, and when I travel I use their dial-up service. But when I use the dial up service, I cannot load certain web pages, such as Yahoo.com and ebay. I've tried erasing cookies, setting security to a lower setting, clearing cache, but nothing helps. Any idea what the problem may be?

Windows XP, IE 6.0
