Surferbar Spyware Removal

I just opened IE to find some SurferBar spyware program installed. Ad-aware does not pick it up and I haven't been able to find where it's installed.

Has anyone else come across this one yet? It's a bother and must be removed asap.

Thanks

I had updated Ad-Aware and just gave Spybot a shot. Still no go.

I dont know where it came from either. Just just appeared this afternoon and I haven't installed any software and I never accept prompts from websites (and don't remember receiving any...)

you may need to notch up your ie security settings. if you run a non ms browser such as netscape, mozilla or opera, then this sould not be an issue. check in windows/downloaded programs or ie tools internet options, general, view objects. you may find it skulking in there
