Little .exe files

Hi there,

Hope someone can help, I have loads of little .exe file trying to access the internet, with names like:

yms10b.exe
zfp10a.exe
uww1a.exe
rzy15.exe

All just random letters and number, obviously ive blocked them all because they are in my temp folder (sometimes they dont allow me to delete them, even though I have closed the program from task manager) and I dont have a clue where they are coming from or what they are trying to do...

Im running windows 2000, norton av2003, and the latest zone alarm pro

Any clues?

Regards

Steve

try starting up in safe mode or dos (with a boot disk if necessary) and then delete them. run spybot s&d and or adaware and a trojan scanner.
