eVGA FX 5200 Overclocking
My friend just bought a crappy FX 5200 from eVGA, is there any way to flash its BIOS to make it faster????
I am not sure if it would ever handle the 5200 Ultra's BIOS?

does it use a passive heatsink? it might need a fan and some ram sinks to go with that.

that might be the problem. install a set of those and you're set to OC.
it sounds like your friend did in fact get the crappy 5200.. the "lite" version, with 64-bit bus width.
