Kids Overburn [800MB] 90 Minute CD's...

Okay, Well I have created an image file for a backup (.bin) and it is over 800 MB... but the track size is 703 MB and I am trying to burn it on a [800 MB] 90 Minute CD using Nero, and I have set the setting for Maximum CD length to "93 Minutes, 59 Seconds, and 74 Frames" on the Expert Feature tab and same with Red marker on the General Tab and use D-A-O mode but even though I change those settings, Nero still thinks that I am putting in 700 MB CD's which I'm not... I ignored the message anyways and selected overburn but the CD came out with errors...

What am I doing wrong? Why can't I make it think they are 800 MB... Please help.

And yes, my CD-RW supports overburning...

your cdr supports overburn, but do you also have it selected in nero? just setting the markers to 90 minutes isn't enough in nero.

once you have the settings correct and you insert a 90 mintue cd, the dialogue box saying the info won't fit on a standard cd pops up, after a few seconds another box will popup asking you if you want to continue with overburn anyway.

also you must use "disc at once" mode when burning, nothing else will work, I believe

Yes, I have D-A-O selected and I get the "Do I want to continue anyways with overburn" dialog message and even though it goes to 100%, the CD contains CRC errors...

Ah great... I just wasted another 800MB CD...

The image file is over 800 MB but the actual track is only 703 MB...

Don't... There has yet to be a program that can detect 90 Min CD's... And overburn is just stupid, it will give you errors anyways and end up wasting CD's so best thing to do is compress it with zip file or something...

*sigh*, I just wasted three 800MB CD's...

how fast are you burning?? Turn down the burner to 12x and give it a go. Those disks are very unstable, so they don't burn well at high speeds.
