Max Payne

Hey I know that this isn't a multiplayer game but I just got Max Payne and when I go to play new game it shows the loading bar fill up then it goes to desktop and nothing happens...anybody know what to do... I will try reinstalling but anybody had this problem??

did you install the new patch from their website?

this same thing happend to me, and yes you need to dl the patch 1.0->1.5 fixes all bugs... its a great game

yes they are, it looks the same gameplay wise and graphics are 10 times better! be one of those games to look out for cuz it should be good.... not as good as hl2 or d3... but good

My bro. said it was because of the Radeon vid cards some aren't compatible but i'll tell him what made yours work, thx!

Nice to see ya Lazrhok, welcome to TechIMO! I cant get max payne to run at highest settings with my 9700, always quits to desktop. But I have version 1.0 too, so that is probably the problem. Never thought i'd need the patch when i was usin that ol tnt2, lol.

Lets hope they improve the darn voice acting. It was so ungodly pathetic in the first one.
