Should I return the NF7-S if.....

it's not Rev. 2? I ordered it from neweegg last week with the thought that they sell so much stuff that the chances are good that I would get the latest MoBo from Abit. Besides the last few reviews on the board got great review in terms of overclocking. If I don't get REV. 2 Then I might just have to return it and eat the 15% restocking fee and pick up the Epox 8RDA+ which is listed as a capable of the 400 mhz FSB and Comes with 2 rounded cables. BTW I don't planto have the system completed until October, so how can I tell if its Rev. 1, 1.3 or 2.0? I was told REV. 2'S have a RED PCB and the older ones have a green one, any truth to this. any way thanks for any help you may give me.

The PCB has a line on it that says what revision it is. I don't recall the color of my PCB, but I don't remember hearing that they changed the colors.

I'm pretty sure that Newegg would be on Rev 2 boards by now, considering they've been out for over 2 months now.

The board is a redish color, actually more of a copper or bronze color IMO.
Anyhow, I have never heard of a green colored NF-7 board.
As Nighthawk has said, there should not be to much of a concern on receiving the Ver 2 of this board. It has been out for 3 months or so. With the biz that NE generates I would say it's a safe bet they have been shipping ver 2s for awile.

Thanks for the advice, I JUST got the board and examinded it, it is red and has a sticker that says Ver. 2.0 so I guess its the same as Rev. 2.0. Can't wait to get my system together and oc my 2500+ to hopefully a 3200+
