Should I run XP Pro or Win2k?
I am building a new computer next month (i've posted about it before) and am wondering what OS to run on it. I currently own Win2k, and am happy with it, and it's stability, but i'm also curious as to how good XP Pro is, my brother has an XP Home system, and some of it seems interesting, but I havn't truly gotten to explore it, due to him locking his system when he's not at it.
So which offers more currently? Win2k, or XP? I'll mostly be using the computer for games, photo editing, movies, and work.

Oh, I was planning on tweaking it, alot. Disabling alot of he services, switching to classic mode, other stuff like that. I've read XP can be a resource hog, but I also know alot of that can be fixed with some time.

If you own w2k, there's not really much reason to buy wxp. w2k will serve just the same as wxp does.
So unless you want to study wxp, I'd stick with w2k.

Ditto, what muno says, I tried XP for about 6 months and went back to 2k. Unless you have the money to blow I'd just stick with 2k also. |

Are there any sites that have the features/flaws of XP listed?
