Can someone help Just built a p2 system when it boots up it says no operating system found try to access the bios but cant,it comes up with a motherboard screen then no operating system
found can someone help?Ar1

Have you installed an operating system?

What motherboard is it? Most Bioses are accessed by hitting a certain button between the end of the POST and the beep. Try the function (F1, F2 etc) keys, the Delete key and the ESC key. One of these usually gets you into the BIOS. Very rarely is it a multi-key combo to get in.

If you have not installed an OS yet (Windows or Linux or UNIX), then you will get this message until you install an OS.

got into bios thankyou but my bios wont pick up my hard drive and the settings to change this are blacked out

Make sure the jumpers for the hdds are set correctly. Try and set it to AUTO so the BIOS can auto detect the drives. One drive should be master and one slave. If you haev 2 drives, disconnect the one w/o the OS and try to bot with only it connected. Then connect the other drive.
