? about headphone jacks on comp (K7S5A)

I have a k7s5a pro in a box here that has a front panel w/ headphone and mic jacks. Trouble is, it seems to me that I can only get the L or R to work, not both since the audio header doesn't have a spot for both (unless I'm missing something)
It's kind of annoying, anyone know of an adapter or something to fix it?

TIA,

jme

These are stereo connectors (three contacts on prong).

eh? I think I missed something. There's an actual stero connector and I don't use that header, or what?
