Gaming Instal XP onto SATA HD

I just built a computer with the following:

GA-700N Pro2 motherboard
Maxtor 80 Gig SATA HD

The system boots to bios correctly. However, when I try to install Windows XP it is clear that my HD is not recoginzed by the Windows XP installation program. It says to press F6 and instal SATA and/or RAID drivers. As far as I know, I do NOT have those.

Where can I get the driver necessary to get my system up and running. Note, I will not be using RAID. I only want my single SATA drive recognized at the moment. And, if possible, please explain in depth where I can obtain the necessary driver (any driver that will work for now) and how to get the necessary files onto a floppy that the installation program will recognize.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hmm when I got my MSI K7N2 it came with the necessary drivers on a floppy

Did you get the mobo from a store or from ebay?
Have you checked the mobo manufacturers website? That would be the first place to look (sorry don't have time to look myself at the moment)

I have the complete package including software that came with the board. I haven't been able to locate the SATA drivers on any of the CDs and no floppies were included. I've checked the manufacturer website (Gigabyte) and I don't see SATA specific drivers. There are SATA RAID drivers, but I don't see anything that is easily transfered to a floppy for installation during XP installiation.
