Best Cases with 120mm Fan Openings
Looking for opinions/suggestions regarding the best mid- and full-tower cases with (default) 120mm intake/exhaust fan openings. Woulkd much rather have a single 120mm fan than dual 80mm fans at both intake and exhaust. PS can be either included or not.
TIA,
jmichna

I use the Antec SLK3700 which comes with a 350W PSU. It has an included 120mm exhaust fan in the back and has a bracket for a 120mm intake fan in the front. It's a nice case, fantastic value if you can use the 350W PSU, and decently quiet. I use it for my secondary gaming rig / PVR system, and temps are pretty good too. http://www.antec-inc.com/pro_details...p?ProdID=93700 http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...iption=slk3700
newegg price is pretty expensive ($72 + $18 ship), I could have sworn I got it for $64.99 free ship from there two months ago when the case first came out. But you can get some pretty nice pictures off that page and shop elsewhere if you choose.

Just FYI excaliberPC has the SLK3700 at $65+15 FedEx Saver ship ($80 total) and in stock. They are rated almost as high as newegg on here, too. http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_i...oducts_id=1412
I've done a bit of poking around and very very few cases come with 120mm fan mounts both front and back. In fact the only two that newegg has are the forementioned SLK3700 and its big brother, the Antec Sonata Series case (it's basically a glorified SLK3700 in piano black finish with fancier hard drive bays, and a 380W PSU). Many cases seem to feature a "multiple mounting" system in the front intake where there are screw mounts avaiable to mount a 80, 92, or 120mm fan, but all of these only have a single 80mm fan on back.
edit: link to newegg page for sonata series with pics and links to reviews http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...antec%2Csonata

Thanks all, for the input thus far...
Hoping a modest /\/\/\BUMP/\/\/\ might solicit a few more comments/suggestions.
TIA,

I own an Antec Sonata, and have worked on the Antec SLK3700.
I must say that out of all the cases that I worked on those two were my favorite, and I would defenately recomend both.
If you would like to add a blow hole (honestly these cases do not need a side intake) I would go with the SLK3700 since its cheaper, and you do not feel bad about cutting up the Sonata (that piano black finish looks so sweet).
Plus the SLK3700 is cheaper, for $65 you can get it, plus throw in $50 for a top of the line PSU, and you got yourself a solid case with a better PSU then the Sonata.
I would recomend one more thing, since you are going with 120mm fans, get the best out there, the Enermax speed control fans. They go with $18 or so on newegg, but are so worth the money. They are quiet, and when compared to other 120mm fans (based on RPM) they are quieter and move more air.

Well, if you are looking to at least have one fan that is 120mm, then you may want to look at the Enermax line of cases. the front fan can handle 80mm to 120mm, and most have a 80mm side fan, room for 2 80mm rear fans, plus a blow hole for another 80mm fan. The prices are right, they have a bunch of styles and they are aluminum. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...iption=&page=1 27 to choose from!

Honestly I do not like the idea of so many fans in the case, you start going overboard and start causing more harm that way (disturbing proper air flow, caused by turbilance with too many fans).
I like the Enermax line since they have the 120 intake, and a blowhole, but what I do not like about them is the rear. If that had a 120 exhust it would be a very good case, plus I worked with aluminum cases, and overall I did not find them too much helpful in heat disipatation, with the exception of the HDDs. Plus they feel too fragile too me.
Well my opion about them atleast.
I still say go for the Antec SLK3700, and get a nice high performance PSU if you have the $$ to burn.
And of course the Enermax speed adjustable fans (trust me on this).

Also how many db will that run at if the fans are like 28db will it stay around 28db or will it go way the hell up cuz of so many fans?
