A program that can combine Video Clip files into one?

I have two movie halves, each around 710mb, and I want to combine them into one continuous movie clip. Is there a program I can do this in? Thanks.

I have questions like this all the time but have never taken the time to research the topic.

What type of movies are you trying to join? Mpg's, avi's, asf's? Not that I can help you much here but the more info you provide the more likely you are to get a better answer.

VirtualDub. Open your video, then append segment, and cheange video mode to direct stream copy. Save as avi, I have done this before, I think that is right.

Virtual Dub does it most of the time.

Otherwise, just ype the kind of file you want to join adn the word "join" in a search engine. Almost always gets the right program.

I.E. "Mpeg join"

The last time I used VirutalDub I tried to join to 20mb Avi files and got a 6 gb file instead of one 40 mb file. I was really puzzled as to where all my hd space went until I realized what it did.

Glad I'm the only person that's done that. For a minute there I thought I was the BOFH.

That should have read "I'm glad I'm NOT the only person that's done that."
