Need help with Publisher file

My wife just got a Publisher file that she needs to work on for a client. The only thing is, with all the freaking software we have, Publisher is not a title we own. Is there a way to open this file in another program? Or would someone be willing to open the file for us and save is as another file type, if that is possible?

I don't think you can unless the person who created the file changes how it is saved.

However, you could send it to someone with Publisher, who could then save it in a format you could read.
