Please can someone, anyone help me with the below error I keep getting on my Win 2K server?

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response
from the McShield service

!st you should ask a mod to move this to the Apps and Operating Systems forum.
Apparently you have Mcafee running and it's in conflict with somthing like another AV or Win2003 Server's Firewall or ZoneAlarm

Probably the best thing to do is uninstall Mc Afee. After everything is running ok everywhere else, then re install it. It you are still having problems, and there is not update available from Mc Afee, then give Norton a try.

Whatever McShield is, it may be a feature you don't need, or can't use. If is can't use, that may be the reason for stalling your computer.
