PengAol, and RH9

sorry.. for not posting this in the apps forum.. but i think it will be seen by more linux peeps here.

Im new to linux.. been an MS guy for about 9 years now... and finally trying to pull away now.

anyways Im one of the unfortunate to be stuck on a dial up in the middle of BFE and i use aol to dial up (i dont use aol.. it just gets me connected )the reason i use aol is it is the most reliablein the area im in i.e. if it rains.. i cannot get connected to any other ISP other than aol.. so that is the reason i use aol nuff said there.

my problem is PengAol... i cannot get this program to see my modem... does anyone have any experience?? vwdial detects my modem... but it doesnt auto congire the wvdial.conf. If i use the internet connection "wizard" thing.. it see the modem and i can dial out.. i just have no isp to dial to with it

anyone want to takea stab at helpming me with this??

Look in the PengAol file and see what device it is looking to.

You may need to symlink /dev/modem to your modem device.

I havent used PengAol, so these are general troubleshooting ideas here
