Kids 3DMARK Results Questions FX5600 Ultra

I'm curious whether these benchmarks are reasonable, or if there is some tweaking I should do. Also, if anyone has had any experience with overclocking the Geforce FX 5600 (flip chip version, 450Mhz core clock).

well, i dont think the 5600 is a very powerful card.

my system:
1700+
Ti4200 64mb
256mb PC2100 ram
40 gig drive

it runs 3dmark2001 at close to 10000, can beat 10000 with some OC. i believe the graphics card is what is keeping your score below extreme (need 9700/9800 or 5800/5900). my 3dmark 2003 score is about 1800, but my DX8 Ti4200 hurts there

I think that score looks about right for that card...

I'd be interested to know if anyone has overclocked theirs. I ran mine at 460Mhz core clock with 920Mhz memory just fine in 3-d apps. I'm not wanted to melt the thing up hehe.

I'm sorry for faliciously bumping, but has anyone overclocked their Geforce FX 5600 Ultra? Certainly, there must be someone that couldn't spare the extra $100 for their Radeon 9700 Pro. hehehe.

the 5600 Ultra would be the ideal card for me but im afraid my PIII-era comp wont be able to make full use of it.

the question is whether or not you know how to overclock it. i wouldn't have gotten the Ultra FLIP CHIP VERSION if it wasn't badass. The original ultra was weak at 400mhz core clock. The second ultra they released that was a flip chip was at 450mhz which is what I got.

I want to know anyone that has experience overclocking an Ultra 5600 FX FLIP CHIP please. We can correlate results and see what we can mutaully accomplish by way of making our cards as close to Geforce FX 5900 as possible
