3rd HDD. Slave or Master?

I bought a Ultra ATA IDE Controller Card today in order to add a 3rd HDD.

Should ithe HDD be set to slave?
I've never done this before, any tips or info before I start?

Thanks.

So you have 2 HDD and 2 CD/DVDs?

On IDE 0 and 1?

If you add drives on a PCI controller card, it can be master without a problem. Your BIOS should recognize the card as well as the drive. Of course, you can set it as slave if you like. Be sure to load appropriate drivers for the card though.

I was busy upgrading and improving my forum, also been spending a lot of time outdoors away from the comp, how about you, good to hear from you, it's been a while.
