Poll on using an LCD with Analog or DVI

Just curious. I have 2 LCD's side-by-side. Both are s being driven my an Matrox G450 Millinium Dual Head but one head is DVI and the other is Analog.

What is everyone's thoughts about using DVI or Analog on an LCD flat screen (with respect to clarity, sharpness, refressh rates etc)?

I have had others say there is no differece and would be interested in subjective or objective (quantifiable ) opinions. To me, the LCD analog text looks a shade darker, but not quite as crisp (but then, with these old eyes, the darker may be easier to see, but then again, the crispness of the DVI makes it easier).. why is nothing easy in this business?

Thanks.

This would determine if I go buy another DVI card or not.

Bob

You can definitely tell the difference between DVI and VGA on text. Everything will look sharper in general, but with text it is very noticeable.
