Turning pc tuner card into pvr problems...

I recently purchased ATI's TV Wonder VE pc tuner card. I purchased it because I intended to make a pvr out of it.... So far this has not been the easiest task.

Problems:
1) First off, GuidePlus+ does not connect to the server for the updated guid so therefore, I cannont use this software to utilize the recording of the programs I want to watch.

2) From there I decided to try using Power VCR II Deluxe 3.0 and then sync that with titantv.com and just record it from there. For some reason when I hit the "record" button on titantv's guide, it downloads a program.tvpi file that I have no idea how to use. I assume it syncs with a windows scheduling agent?

If anyone has any suggestions on what I can try or what I should do, please respond. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I've gone through the registry for GuidePlus+ (gemstar) and made sure the URL is pointed to the correct server....I think

I also have a TV Wonder VE, its a great card for the price.

Make sure you have the WDM Drivers installed before running any software, the ATI TV software on the ATI Multimedia center works fairly well, but if your looking for a awsome capture software then I reccomend downloading Win DVR, I have used many proggy's but that one seems to work the best.
