DVID-D Card

I'm looking for a graphics card for around 150-200 that outputs dvi-d not dvi-i. Does anybodt have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Is it true you get a better picture with a dvi-d than with a dvi-i when hooking up to a digital lcd. I heard that dvi-i connections aren't truely digital.

Why would you want "only" the DVI-D card?? The DVI-I handles both digital and analog.

Check out this link for a great article on DVI-D and DVI-I:

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1577&p=3

The difference is essentially that the DVI-D connector features only the 24-pins necessary for purely digital operation while a DVI-I connector features both the 24 digital pins and the 5 analog pins.

I believe these cards should have DVI-I outputs, I'm sure there are more:

MSI Ti4200-VTD8X
ATI Radeon 7500

Right. DVI-I is just DVI-D plus an analog copy of the same signal, for legacy VGA monitors.

In other words, DVI-I _includes_ DVI-D.
