can't watch dvd on TV

Hi all,

Ive a laptop (HP Pavilion ze5300) with DVD-rom and S-video output. I tried to connect my laptop to the TV using a S-video cable and worked fine. The problem is that when I try to watch a movie using WindDVD 4 on TV only appears a black box, but Im able to see the desktop & the dvd player. The video card is Radeon IGP 345PM.

I'll appreciate any comment or idea of how to solve this problem.

Did you set the tv to be the primary display device when watching? Older video cards can't play video on both screens.
