how can i hook this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1489 to a VGA port.

LJE2 is on a distinguished road
You just need to use a video card that has a composite (or RCA) output. This is usually called (So and So video card with VIVO, video in and video out) the connection you are looking for is an output that is a yellow plug with a single hole in the middle. Just connect this output with a composite video cable to the device you show in the link.

i knew that but i thought that the PS1 screen had a funky connectore that plugged directly into the PS1 on the back
