What program are you using? Did you check the program for a file size limiter?

Hmm, I can't find much information online, so I would look through the preferences and limits on the program, or use a lower bit rate / quality of video to make the size smaller.

Image Mixer supports the import of AVI files but, according to AVI Standard, you can only import up to 4GB. When importing AVI files, or FAT32 file system, you could only import up to 4GB, and the longest time you can import file is about 10 minutes.

crappy pos.... :P
looks like i gotta use shitty MPEG-1

Can you add codecs to it??
If so, try DIVX.

I've had a file over 5gig(Filming with fraps) on my machine once, but it would always crash it. It can have file sizes over 4 gig, but they are going to be useless as winxp can't read them.

That's kind of useless. When you're working on large files that are in the multi-GB range how are you supposed to do anything with them if your OS keeps crashing?

Does the old versions of Windows have this limitation?
