Help with MS-6380e motherboard

Hi,
I have a KT3 Ultra (CE) MS-6380E rev 1.0 from justdeals.com Friday last week. Now I have hard time of get this board to work.

First, the manual come with it is exactly the same as shown in the bios. I tried to find how to increase fsb to 133Mhz without any lock up. It took two days just to find there is a jumper switch is to increase 100, 133, 166Mhz fsb. Nowhere in the manual where there is a jumper switch for it.

Second, I tried to flash with new bios b/c the one I saw is outdated. I can’t get it to flash, something to with bios lock protection. I tried to unlock the bios but there is no option in the bios.

Now that got the right speed for my CPU and fsb, I try to install Windows. I try installing various OSes. For Winxp, I get various *.sys file is corrupted or sometime it crashes during initializing file process before the process where you F8 to continues on installation. For 98SE, I get some kind of error after scandisk disappears. Also, Could this board be refurbish? Look at the time stamp. I order it on the 13th from the UPS.

To unlock the bios so that it can be flashed you may have a jumper on the board that needs moved. Many boards have a bios jumper that has the settings, NORMAL or FLASH
