FTP server help

Ok, here's the problem:

I'm running BulletProof FTP Server v2.15 Registered. Now, when a client tries to connect anonymously, he gets a "530 PORT command only accepts client IP address." It also shows up in my logs. What should I do? I'm thinking that I made a mistake somewhere along the line...

In the Server Setup under Multi IP Settings: did you configure your server to allow only specified IP's to connect? If you did then only the clients with the IP's you specified can connect.

There are no specified IPs under the Server Setup.

Either you've disabled passive mode accepting or the client is trying to do something illegal.

I had a server once which falsely identified PASV command as PORT command and complained that the port ip wasn't the clients ip - which of course it wasn't, because it was issuing passive command.

If 'PORT command only accepts client IP address' comes when trying to start a transfer, it means he's trying to FXP something which you've disabled.

There should be a setting in bproof to modify this.
