Speaker advice or suggestion

I'm looking for some really good speakers (just two channel...no need for surround). So what's the best out there guys?

Depends what quality you are looking for. If you just want computer multimedia style speakers then the Altec Lansing 621s are a pretty good model. They use mylar for their drivers so decently high qualty. The Klipsch 2.1 are fine but I don't like horn drivers.

If you want real audio, then you should aim for sats with at least 5" midrange drivers along with the typical 1" tweeters. I use the DefTech ProCinema 100 sats right now on my NF7-S system. Also depends on whether or not you want a sub.

UUhhhhh, whatever number we're up to. Klipsch PM2.1.

A note to shrae: The horns are not drivers. The AL 621 is very similar to the PM2.1 in terms of specs, but it doesn't sound as good.

Yes, I should have said I don't like speakers that use horns. Obviously horns aren't drivers.
