Viewsonic Monitor-suggestions?

Staples is selling a Viewsonic-Q71 optiquest CRT 17" monitor for $160 (canadian). Is this a good monitor? I mostly game and surf with my computer and this OLD screen is way too small.

I acquired a couple of Veiwsonic 17 in from a bankruptcy auction, and they were better that the new 19" flat screens I had just purchased new.

Ugly:
1024x768 MAX res.

If the store is close, and you need it right now, you can get it. I would get something with ahigher resolution.

These people that have responded to you are misleeding. It's like you asking is a Dodge Neon, V4, No wheels, not loaded, 4 speed, broken windshield car is a good buy, and people telling you that THEIR didge runs fine.

There are TONS of viewsonic monitors. Good ones and bad ones.

I might just buy anything i get from this place...its where i bought my last. Check it out and tell me what u think of their pricing etc. www.odysseycomputers.ca what do the newer games like to support for monitor size too? I know some can just not cut it i guess. I will buy the Star Wars Online game soon if i ever hear anything good about it before i upgrade.
