Maybe your memory chips are damaged, but you took them out one by one, I doubt they are all damaged. When did this error pop up? At the early beginning of the installation? Have you tried again? Maybe this has nothing to do with this but I had a similar problem with Mandrake (Linux Distro), when installation started it needed to load in the memory or somethin like this and it took hours to finish and when it did it said that my memory was damaged. I got scared,started to ask people, and they told me that the CD of Mandrake was damaged... I dont think this is the same thing though but it just poped in my head but nvm. I have never heard about this. Have you already called Microsoft? They usually have great support. Check it out
