adding ME to an additional hd with xp on it already

Well im new here so hi guys and gals my names Lexy.Anyways on to my problem.I have two hard drives one was my main one with xp on it but it was only ten gigs.so i wanted to use my 40 gig one as my main hd.So i put xp on my 40 gig but now i wanna clear xp off the 10 gig and put ME on it.I have tried numerous things but nothing seems to wanan work for me anyone got any ideas.Right now i have the choice to boot from xp or xp haha so i really want ME lemme know thanx.

I had ME on this machine and wanted to dual boot Windows 2k. I made a 2nd partition after the ME partition. The new partition is NTFS. Then just installed Windows 2k onto the NTFS partition. Now when I boot up it gives me the choice of ME or 2k. Nothing to it. But if you don't want to lose your current install of XP you'll need a utility like Partition Magic etc to create the new partition without losing the data on the original.

Well its saying that the c drive is the system drive so it wont let me do anything to it.Its a whole other hd so i dont mind wiping it right out thats what i wanted.I have xp on my bigger hd now which is my e drive there two seperate hds i just added the big on a few months back and just used it as storage.Now i use it as my main hd that i wanna boot from and i want the c drive which is the smaller one to have me on it.

i've had that problem before...... i quickly learned that, You cant do much to ur C: if you have XP installed on the same drive with partitions.. like XP installed on the E: of the same HD...

first of all...... how many partitiions do you have setup for ur 40gb drive? and where do you have XP
