Should I put my drivers on my xp partition too?

I'm reinstalling xp b/c of a bonehead move. I decided to go ahead and give xp it's own space on the hdd for ease of formatting later.
Where should I put all of the drivers? i.e. video card, sound, motherboard, etc.

Thanks!

I keep the setup files on another partition so I have them when I format.

So you have a partition w/ xp, one for setup, and a main? I set the xp to 5 gigs which is probably way overkill, but I wanted to be safe, how much should I put the setup partition to?

I have my XP partition set to 10gb ... I usually end up filling that up with games...it really depends on your needs though.

I set XP on it's on partiton, have another for my apps, and I save files on the rest of my drive. I just copied the XP CD over and keep it there just in case.

I split it 30/50...or will when I get partition magic. Right now it only shows 30. No big deal, only about 7 were being used when it crashed

Primary-active-boot---C:\ : Windows and all applications (program files and so on)---6GB

D: ---- Data/files I created -- 2 GB

E: ------Downloaded stuff -----120GB

F: ------Set up CDs ------30GB

G: -----Page File (800MB

H: DVD writer

The G: partition is on secondary master drive and at the front for best speed and only has the page file. Less fragmentation. I use a 800MB page as I have 512MB RAM on this PC.

This partitioning strategy works very well for me.
