reboot/ shut down error

Hi
When i go to restart on shut down my computer, I always get the same error.

I get a blue screen with the following on it

A problem has been detected
[RQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL]

Technical Info
* STOP 0x00000000A (0X0000002DC, 0X00000000, 0X80523912)

CHECK HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE
DISABLE OR REMOVE BIOS MEMORY OPTIONS SUCH AS CACHING OR SHADOWING

I have windows XP home, on a athlon 1800+ system

I am a total novice, can anyone explain in simple terms what the problem could be, or how to fix it.
Everything seems to work fine when the computers running, just this error when turning off

Many thanks

Go to the link below and get an analysis on your Crash DMP file. You need to have your error reporting enabled for this to work though which should already be bt default unless you disabled it manually..

Uploading the error report wont work,
remember windows has actually closed down, it goes, logging off, shutting down, then blue screen.

the only available step after that would be that the computer should then reboot itself, but cant because of the error screen which I cant get passed

I dont know how to disable shadowing in bios, I cant find it

Yes, look in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ Microsoft\DrWatson and Windows\minidump

You can download a dmp file viewer from MS site to analyze this file...
