1000 MB Graphics Card?

Does anyone think that out of desperation for winning the competition of business between ATI and NIVIDIA, that one or both of them might release a 512Mb and 1000Mb graphics card? In order to beat the other in sales? Imagaine that: a 1000mb card.

It called be called: Nvidia T-1000 (who knows?

no but i bet 3D labs might have something to say about that... they're working on it, but in some pretty screwed up numbers

although something in the back of my memory is telling me that awhile back, ATI was threatening to create, produce, and release a video card that had 2 9700pro cores on it with double the ram.. but i have no link to verify, ill go digging.

Well ATI did release the Rage Maxx card a while back so they might do a Radeon Maxx too.
