Intrusion: HTTP_ActivePerl_Overflow ??

I'm running Norton Personal Firewall 2003.

I got this while at the A&E website. I've never gotten this before, except one other time (which I recall was the A&E website as well)

Attempted Intrusion "HTTP_ActivePerl_Overflow" from your machine against aeshopping.112.2o7.net(216.52.17.116) was detected and blocked
Intruder: localhost(4039)
Risk Level: Medium
Protocol: TCP
Attacked IP: aeshopping.112.2o7.net(216.52.17.116)
Attacked Port: http(80)


I'm not sure what to do about this? Is there any problem on my computer? Any remedies?

No attack, just another computer trying to connect to your HTTP server port (80), likely with a malformed TCP/IP packet. Assuming you are not running a website on your system, then Norton did the correct thing by dumping the incoming connection request and alerting you. No further action is required.
