2400+---400mhz FSB?

Can a Athlon XP 2400+ Reach 200mhz FSB?

I thought it was achieveable for many months now, but need to double check before i buy the sucker.

I am hopeing for 200x12 = 2400mhz, but I will settle for 11.5 multiplier. Or even 11. The 200 FSB is what I want. Sync with the ram and all.

PS: I gots a water cooler

No offense, but I'm sure a Athlon T-bird could reach 200mhz with the right setup.

I wondered if it is EASILY possible. Have MOST people been successful?

If ONE guy in his dorm room with some liquid nitrogen thingy ONCE got it to POST at 200mhz FSB, but in pink, the chances of me being able to do it are slim.

Im my mom can make it go to 200mhz, then I definatly can.

No problem bud. It would do 300fsb w/ the right setup.

...It would take the right hardware...it won't be easy but it can (and has) been done by people even if they're not running extreme cooling (dry ice, LN2)

Won't be easy? That isn't what I wanted to hear.

I have a 2400+ running a 166 x 14 = 2324mhz. Air cooled @ 48C max load. I was hoping to get anywhere near this mhz level but with a 200 mhz FSB.

Sucks you can't "test" it.

I don't think there are any other Athlons for less than $100 that can get a 200mhz FSB and equal over 2ghz.

i got my 2400+ at 200FSB, but alas, the heat generated at any levels past 2250MHz were practically unbearable even under an SLK800.

i got my FSB to rest comfortably at 166*12.5, which suited me fine, but then i got a 2500+ and shoved the FSB to 212, and ive got myself one smokin fast cpu 88-92bucks online

3400+ levels i think

Well, I've officially been head-boggled, butt-kicked, side-swiped, and mind-changed.

Can't belive I just said that.

Many people said they got to 200 x 11 - 2.2ghz on stock Vcore on crappy heatsinks. 2.3ghz and 2.4ghz easily on better heatsinks ALL 200 FSB and only 1.75 vcore. Well, heck, I'm dying to see what I can get with 2.2 Vcore and Water cooling.

Thx everyone!

don't be shy to tell us what you get out of it!

ive got my 2500+ running at 2552MHz from 1833, at 1.675 voltage and 206MHz [stability in all aspects] with 11 or 12 [i forget] multi.

here in maybe a day ill get another stick of ram and have it run dual channel, perhaps ill get an extra 2% performance out of it, but dang it is a worthwhile chip!

*note* to all you SLK owners, LAP YOUR HEATSINKS! they're far too rough to be worth a darn, i lapped mine and dropped 8C! *note*
