TV OUT Problems with Radeon 9600

I have tried several driver versions including the omega drivers with no success. I can get the video to display on my TV but it is of VERY poor quality. The color is very faint and all the text and window outlines have squigly red lines around them, making it basicly impossible to use. Ive tried all the settings; differnt display rates, color saturation, .ect. What is weird is when I switch the output to black and white it looks perfect... but I like color =)

Any suggestions?

-Eric

I'ts definatly not the wrong TV standard set, I have tried them all. Can you elaborate on connection problems? I have read a lot about bad cables and it dosent nessacarily sound like that would be my problem.

If someone really thinks thats the problem I might go buy a new one. But the exact same cable works perfectly on a Geforce3 TV Out.

Sometimes removing and reattching a cable connection can screw the it up. Have you tried to remove the cable and reconnect it? The problem might go away. Also if you have an extra length of cable try it instead.

Yeah its starting to look like i may never fix it. I have tried differnt RCA cables. The same SV Out adapter though. Maybe I should go back to my GF3 TI200, even the framerates arent much better on the 9600, quite a dissapointment.
