well all the cards are DX9 Compatible. But the big question is can the card utilize the new features that DX9 has to offer. the TI's can't but the FX's can. I currently own a 5200 non ultra 128 bit. I'm happy with it. Its default core is 250/3??. i am able to overclock it to 300/400. If i can find a way to turn the voltage up on it i'll push it higher!
But to be honest i suggest you go for a 5600 ultra or TI series and above. even though the 5200 can actually use the DX9 features the TI's blow it out of the water. when you get up to 5600 thats when things start to even out between the FX's and the TI's but the 5600 can use the DX9 features also which is a plus.
P.S. the only reason I bought a 5200 because i was upgrading from a Geforce 2 MX 32 meg

in 3 months i'll spend a 100 bucks and get a 5600 ultra or a 5900 depending on how much the price drops.
