DHCP failed to renew a lease

HI,

in computer I have on my net I have Nt running and I keep recieving this message:

DHCP failed to renew a lease for the card with network address 00508BDE00FF. The following error occurred :
The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Ok I know that the card works fine but I keep getting this error.

Any suggestions?

This might help, the reply to the problem is the first, suggesting you have a smc barricade that needs a fw upgrade
