I was kidding about the obsolete thing Windows 2000 would encompass professional and all of the server versions (minus datacenter in this case)

I was getting that earlier the other day on my XP Home notebook ... then it stopped and started giving me another error :\

Zen: I wasn't using that link, yeah I'd read that one
I was using the link from the start menu
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

windowsupdate.com is shut off, but windowsupdate.microsoft.com isnt'

Systems Windows Update Error
Getting an error message (see attached) when try to goto windows update. Any ideas or fixes?
