pop up balloon in tray dialup icon/HD too full?

How can i get rid of that balloon that shows connection speed over the tray connection icon when i first connect with dialup?

also I have about 33% of harddrive space left at what point do i start to lose performance because HD is too full?

EnableBalloonTips=0 A DWORD value of 0 turns off the yellow popup balloon tips

startbuttonballoontip was the only entry i found refering to balloon. Is that the one? Is editing the registry the only way? I don't have experience with editing the registry.

Oh god bless you GZ3. I've also been wondering how to get rid of that annoying thing as well...it's a low thing on the priority list and never gets done though. lol. But every morning when I connect I think to myself, "GOD That's Annoying!! I need to figure out how to get rid of it..."

And that's usually as far as it goes. lol.

Hmmm...I also was unable to find EnableBalloonTips...Start_ShowNetConn_ShouldShow maybe???
