Windows, Linux and Mac users: which fanatics are the worst?

Which OS has the worst nuts?

Windows nuts are the guys who will say something stupid like "typing ./install.sh is way too damn hard, LINUX IS TOO HARD". Then they will claim that Linux doesn't work and that they had to compile their kernel in 43 bit to get it to work (meaning they have no clue what they are talking about).

Linux nuts are the guys you find at http://microsuck.com . They tend to shun all Windows users even if the guys on Windows are forced to use it (company, parents, wife, etc). When a Windows user asks a simple question like "how do I add programs to system start" the Linux nut will say something like "first of all you have to format your hard drive and install Linux..."

Mac fanatics are the guys who say stupid things like "my G5 is faster than your 3.2ghz P4" even after every credible source says otherwise. They will claim their Mac is rock solid even though they know deep down it's as stable as Windows 95.

Overall, which of the crazies are the worst?

I would have to say that fanatics of any flavor are bad, no matter what camp they reside in. They give all of us a bad name, whether we are a Linux user or a Windows user. Mac fanatics? Where!? Do they exist?

Edit/ that site actually exist! Did you know that or am I just horribly stupid? lol

OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Mac fanatics are everywhere.... they are the guys who send emails to the editors of sites because they don't like the fact that benchmarks prove they got ripped off.

Look at this site proving the G5 is not the fastest and scroll down to the Hate Mail section.

Oh no! Apple produces kick ass machines once again and someone wants to piss on our parade.

Apple basher... This isn't the first time this guy's posted negative anti-Apple comments on his "soapbox." Definitely a PC whiner disguising himself as a Mac user. Apple's new boxes will leave PC's in the dust and they can't stand it. Now, not only do we have a superior OS but we also have superior hardware to run it.

Back on top! Damn the PC trolls are coming out the woodwork aren't they. There was more than a Photoshop bake-off today. Luxology (founders of LightWave) previewed their 3D animation program and the G5 outperformed your beloved Xeons. Dual 2GHZ 64-bit processors, 1GHZ bus, up to 8GB DDR SDRAM. Eat your heart out PC trolls. The Mac is BACK!

Like WOW, these people are totaly nuts!

Linux users and Mac users, lol, there is a thread at this moment with a linux fanatic on it, quite sad, really.

I would just go with whatever OS suits my needs at the time, i play games, so i use windows.

I'd say Windows fanatics. They're normally the ones that shout "Every OS Sucks" (a la Three dead trolls in a baggie - have a look on mp3.com)
They reckon that anything else is awful, too complicated or too simplistic.
I'd place myself in the Linux camp, but I don't go shouting that Windows is the worst thing to hit the earth, System V takes that crown.
Linux users (from here and other sites I tend to visit) tend to conceed that Windows is a decent piece of software, which it is (If I'm honest) and that Macs have their place. I think this is because of the Free (speech) software movement's ideals. Whereas Windows is intent on shoving everyone else out of the market (or rather Microsoft is) and I think their supporters tend to adopt that view as well.
Mac users have to know they've lost. Apple screwed up by shafting its clone market, as they can't innovate as a whole as much as a million different companies can individually. But reading that quote above, I think I'm mistaken.

I won't argue that the people at the bottom of the page are completely nuts, if they actually exist. But you have to admit that this guy doesn't really have a clue what he is talking about. Do you honestly believe everything he is saying? Anyone with a first year college education would know that everything coming from his keyboard is complete and utter BS.

I'd agree with you there.

The reason i chose this software, unlike some others (namely fanatics), is because it functions what i want it to do, it plays games, word processes and does e-mails.

When Linux becomes mainstream during next year or the year after i will probably switch to that, as it's free, and will probably use less resources.
