No matter what settings I have this set on I cannot figure out how to get the headphones to work right. with the volume all the way up I can faintly hear sound but only when it is in 4 speaker mode nothing on headphone mode. plus it's like I have no playback. For instance I use a prog called Roger Wilco to talk while playing games, Now when I speak through Mic they can hear me but I can't hear me, Nor can I hear them I don't have the Mic muted or anything, even when I test the Mic I still get no playback. This playback problem exists with headphones and regular speakers. The regular speakers work fine. I know the headphones aren't bad because I have tested them on another system.

You're plugging the headphones into the line out (same as the speakers) or into a different place?
