My new setup

Alright guys I plan on overclocking the CPU to 3200+ speeds (this will be my first overclock). Heres the setup I was planning on:

GEIL DDR RAM 512MB PC-3200 Value 400MHz
MSI Motherboard for AMD Processors Model K7N2 Delta-L
AMD ATHLON XP 2500+ "Barton" 333 FSB PROCESSOR
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9600 128MB 8X AGP
Thermaltake VOLCANO 9

My main concern is the HS and Fan and also the memory. What do you guys think?

You'll be fine, even the retail HSF is pretty good to keep that Barton cool... My 2500+ is running at 3200+ using a Volcano 7+ at medium and at full load my temps are 48C

Bump.. ordering tonight from Newegg do you think this memory will work fine in the board? I could always go with a Corsair XMS pc3200 stick but those are a lot more expensive and I'm on a limited budget.

I've heard very mixed reviews regarding GEIL memory. Some say it works nearly as well as XMS for a fraction of the cost, others tend to stay far away from it. I personally don't like troublshooting stuff if I don't need to, so I went with Corsair XMS for my build.

I'm sorry but, I'm not an MSI fan. They're not good overclockers, IMO. I'd go Abit or Epox nForce2. Hell, my little Shuttle AN35N outruns my epox 8rda, but the core voltage only goes to 2.0v on it.
