My advice to you is just to leave the system on overnight. Use a program like Go!Zilla or FlashGet so you can resume the files if your ISP periodicially kicks you off like mine did.

I dled around 7 gigs of south park episodes back when I was on dialup simply by leaving it running every night... averaged 150-200Mb a night. So... around 250 isnt going to kill you

To be perfectly honest those files arent THAT big. (and yes I feel your pain, I had dialup for about 10 years until this summer)

When you say ultra slow how slow is that? What are you connected at? I only connect at 26.4. How are you supposed to leave it running when internet disconnects randomly then wont reconnect? I would certainly pay a little to get such things burned to disc. I'm building a new system and I want stuff like those programs.

Hi there another possibility, would be to go to an internet caffe, and download from there. They usualy have CD burning faccilities.

I think there's other sites that will burn you cds and send them for cheap but I cant remember any except fileplanet. They have pcmark2002 and 3dmark2001 second edition.
