KAZAA downloading speed problem

hey,

how come when I first got cable modem, on kazaa I could download at 220kb/s but as time goes on downloads get slower and slower, now they download at like 70kb/s.... my friends have the same problem too.... but when i download something off like cnet or download.com it downloads at 200kb/s again.....WHATS GOING ON?!

The people you are getting files from don't have the same bandwith as you. You are lucky to get speeds like that on kazaa anyway.

kazaa is set up to upload slower than download, because you get the file from multiple sources, if there are fewer sources using slower equipment you get a slow download, it's pot luck really. Unless the RIAA are sucking up bandwidth LOL.

my friends have told me their is a program like kazaa but for broadband users only.......... is this correct? if so, where can I get it?

ask them what it is called and do a search on Google. If it's called Winmx, all it means is you can limit your search to people who have broadband. But it does limit your search.

he dident remeber the name, but he said its only for mac only :\ pshh screw mac.................. i download back at 220kb/s now that i download according to bandwidth........thanks!........ how fast do you people download at on kazaa on average??
