Earthlink Problem...Help Fast PLZ

Alright after like 10min of being on the internet an error message will pop up and it says This system is shutting down. Plz save any work or it will be lost. This shutdown was administered by NT Authority\System. Windows must now restart becuase the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service termiante unexpectedly....happing right now typing exact words...19 sec left before shutdown help plz

Its the ms blast worm. Run ms config and uncheck msblast. And restart see if that works.

There is an msbb.exe but that is it....c:\windows\msbb.exe......is that it?? gonna have to keep restarting comp till I get this fixed so somebody that knows what to do help plz asap

Turn on window firewall first thing.
that will stop the reboots for the most part.
hit ctrl alt del and in task manager kill msblast.exe.

right click on you dialup connection properties, advanced , check firewall.

If you launch earthlink it will turn these settings off for some stupid reason

I made my mom launch via the dial up adapter and then launch earthlink 5.0 if she must. I hate that software.

right click on the network adapter for you connection

go to the properties-advanced tab- check firewall at top and select ok

easiest way to get to the dial up addapter I think would be to right click on my network places
