What's the best All-In-Wonder bang for the buck?

Hi all,

What's the best bang for your buck in AIW cards these days? System will be for multimedia more than for gaming, but again I don't mind spending a little more if it'll get me a lot more card. It's going into a Dell PowerEdge 400SC, 2.8 P4,800fsb,1G pc2700,Win2000PRO, and board is 8X AGP ready.

I definitely want to go retail vs OEM (more cables/connections) with a good remote.

Ideas?

-LC

I'd say the AIW 9600. Thats your sweet spot. AIW 9700 and 9800 are still a little pricey.

That 9600 looks good, but any idea when it'll be available here, or the cost?

2-3 weeks and I read 249.00 msrp.

www.newegg.com

9700pro aiw - 358.00
9800pro aiw - 389.00

For the 31.00 dollars more, go with the 9800. Or wait a little while longer... the 9700 should go down in price. With that price difference who is going to buy the 9700, they will have to drop the price. Of course the new 9600 pro aiw will have fm recieving capablilities as well as dual vga monitor support. But only 4 piplines vs. 9700 & 9800's 8 pipelines. I want to see the price of the 9600 b4 I make a decision...
