Outlook Express Rules.

I have attempted this in the past to no avail and wondered if it was possible.

Can I make a Rule that looks at an attachments extension and stores it somewhere for later review.

I.E. *.vbs *.exe and so on but allow

I appear to be able to address attachment size but not name or extension.

??? help ???

I'm not real familiar with all of the anti-virus software out their, but I know NAV scans those files if you set it up too...... is there perhaps one that filters attachements with those extensions and puts them in a 'quarantined' area for further review ??

It's not a built in feature......but if it's available, it should work.

The outlook express my daughter has on her machine only has a rule filter for attachements (all) ... move to folder etc..... no seperate filters on types. I'm sure it's a much older OE though.

btw teddy ..... Us penguins here are glad your so passionate about Linux.... but our friends here don't all use Linux (yet )

But ....... that doesn't mean that they are stupid OR that you should use profanity or get all upset all the time. A little restraint might be in order. We are converting em..... one user at a time here and most of us understand why your so passionate, but we DO need to get along So try not to kill anyone okay and welcome to Techimo ... !

So...... enough of my crapping of this thread.

Hope you find your answer epidemic.

IExploder.exe
wannabekernel32.exe
DRM.exe
crap.exe

#include <stdio.h>

void main()
