In photoshop 6 I used to have a simple action that would rotate a file 180º, then I would go to File/Automate/Batch and run my action into a folder with destination as "Save and Close".
Now I am doing the same procedure in Photoshop 7, but before saving every file it pops up the screen where you can select the compression ratio (for JPG's). That's absolutelly dumb, since I'm trying to process hundreds of files. Obviously I'm not gonna stay in front of the computer and hit Enter every time the computer needs to save my rotated file.
I've seen this happen with all kinds of actions, I did another one that changes the DPI of the file from 300 to 100 dpi, and then it's supposed to save it....but again it asks for every file???????????
Am I missing something here???
I did exactly the same thing I used to do with Photoshop 6.....
In other words, your recorded Action must contain a save event and you can then put a check in the override checkbox to avoid the harrasing "Save" dialogue box.
