burner light stays on
my liteon 40x burner light has been on for about two days now. its the red light that indicates a cd is being burned. but there is no burning taking place. the burner works fine for both read and write, but this light is getting on my nerves. how can i fix it?

Try a different IDE cable. Many a problems can arise from busted ATA cables.
